Herren Regionalliga Bayern

München, 10. November 2018, Bericht:

München RFC II : RFC Bad Reichenhall
29 : 18

On the 10th of November took place the last game of the first part of the season for the second team of MRFC. On this beautiful day, the Lions entered the field with conviction for the kick off at 13:00 against RFC Bad Reichenhall. After a first penalty converted by Guillaume Brouet, Bad Reichenhall took the best of the defence of the team by scoring a try that was not converted followed by a penalty to take the lead at the 14th minute.  Confident in his capabilities Guillaume Brouet took another penalty to reduce the score at the middle of the first halftime. 15 minutes later, with a very longer carry of 2 to 3 cm, Quentin “Quicky” Degroote score the first try for MRFC converted once again by our kicker. Shortly before the halftime, after the departure of the 8 Alan Moughty following a scrum and a perfect off-load, Mathieu Gougibus manage to “run” the last 5 meter to score the try that will be converted and bringing MRFC at 20-8 at halftime.
The second half did not start perfectly for the team with a try of the opponents of the day once again not converted. The magic feet of Guillaume operated again to keep a lead of 10 points on the scoreboard but once again Bad Reichenhall managed to score 5 points thanks to a try. With a score of 23-18 the tension on the field increased as the time was flying to the end. To give some space until the end of the game Guillaume let the powder talk again by scoring two more penalty to end on a deserved 29-18.
