München RFC : RC Rottweil
29 : 14

After the nice victory against Handschuheim, Munich wanted to confirm the leadership of the 2nd bundesliga by a new victory against Rottweil for the first home game of 2016. Both teams were motivated and the black and yellow started really hard and almost scored the first try stopped by our strong defense. We then took the advantage scoring our first try after a nice run from our center Sebastian Schüppel, follow the conversion from our fly half Tschaidse. The blue and white lions applied their game plan dominating scrum and lineouts and second try was scored from our second raw Bainbridge. A penalty was added close before the first half end. 15:0 for MRFC.
Second half started with nice run from both teams, and Rottweil went back on the score after a nice run open side to score their first try and conversion. Nevermind, the lions keep playing their game and scored a third try by our 10 Tschaidse after a pass from hooker Gelly. Munich worked hard to get the fourth try synonymous of bonus point. After a Rottweiler scrum on their 10 m and a nice turnover after a big pressure of the blue pack, scrum half Robert Schuster scored the last try of the Day for Munich. Rottweil scored a second try before the end of the game. Final score 29:14 for Munich and first and only leader of the league.
